In 2025, Wollaston Theological College launched a brand new unit. Designed in consultation with AngliSchools, Anglican Identity and Leadership is a University of Divinity accredited unit which replaces the Wollaston Certificate for Anglican Leaders. The unit is one third of the Wollaston Anglican Leadership Programme, a Graduate Certificate of Divinity tailored for AngliSchools and other Anglican school staff who aspire to leadership in their schools.
On 5 February 2026, Wollaston hosted a Certificate of Completion Ceremony. Certificates were presented to completing participants by Archbishop Kay Goldsworthy, with Wollaston faculty and AngliSchool senior executives in attendance. The Principal of Peter Carnley Anglican Community School, Felicity House, delivered the address on the role of leaders in fostering an Anglican identity in their school communities.
Above pictured are some of the emerging leaders who completed the unit and attended the ceremony. They are, from left to right: Michelle Egan, Christine Hiotis, Richard Alchin, Shannon Allen, Kerry Cohen, and Candice Brown, together with unit coordinator Mark Jennings.
Congratulations to all, and we look forward to welcoming many of you back to Wollaston soon as your leadership story continues to unfold!
