Wollaston Theological College’s new Principal, Dr Meg Warner, was commissioned by the Archbishop in a Eucharist held in the Chapel on Tuesday 12 November 2024.
The new Principal preached, the Archbishop celebrated and ninety people gathered to celebrate a new beginning at Wollaston. Those who were there spoke of palpable sense of joy and new possibility for the college. Wollaston was delighted to welcome Vice-Chancellor of University of Divinity, Professor James McLaren who had travelled from Melbourne to be present, members of the Board and representatives of other colleges as well as large numbers from the diocese, both lay and ordained, many of whom had studied, or taught, at the college in previous incarnations.
Wollaston heads into 2025 looking forward to a new year and new life.
